I grew up in an entrepreneurial home where I learned first-hand about the ups and downs of daily small business operations. At 13, I started my first business as a musician. Since then I’ve had a long and successful history in education, business, and administrative positions. My goal is to help others to experience success as in their life calling through ministry in the marketplace.

Since 1997, I have been involved with women’s ministry programs and became licensed in ministry in 2002. In 2004, I experienced major challenges and changes in my life that inspired me to bring my work online and founded NAWIB to provide support, coaching, and inspiration to women of faith from around the world.

I’ve managed a Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and operated a Small Business Institute (SBI) program on a university campus. As a Peace Corps volunteer, I helped women in West Africa develop Food Cooperatives. My international work and travel has extended to Haiti, South Africa, Europe, and most US states. While earning my PhD in Human and Organization Systems, I focused my doctoral research on women’s leadership styles. I was a university professor of business and faculty chair, and also taught doctoral courses online with several universities in business, non-profit leadership, and organizational development. In 2010, I organized the first annual Central Coast Women’s Conference in California and have become a sought after speaker and presenter at professional conferences, retreats, and seminars.
